Peter's Works

 

Text Box: Peter M Hennessey from the days of the Kodak Brownie (his first camera) has learned to anticipate and ‘see’ a photograph before he evens trips the shutter.  Inspirations for his works come from a variety of stimuli including early black & white from his family and friends, shooting portraits and preserving the history of his middle Massachusetts home town  and through a kinship with his Great Uncle who was a photographer in Boston. The dark room experience helped determine his eye to capture what he ‘sees’, whether it is a flower that you walk by, the simple beauty of an old barn, a romantic sunset in Aruba, the breath taking allure of the Big Sur in California, windswept sands of the Outer Banks or north to the fishing villages of Gloucester and Rockport. Peter's photographs will forever be a treasure. .
